Tom Beene
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Beene has nearly 35 years experience in banking. His career encompasses both large and small banks with experience as a lender, manager and executive officer. His past 10 years at Visalia Community Bank have been his most enjoyable. The frequent interaction with the bank’s customers and community members has been very rewarding for him. A native of Visalia, Tom graduated with a B.S. degree in Agriculture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He attained an Advanced Banking Degree from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Believing in active community involvement, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Visalia Rotary Club, the Visalia Chamber of Commerce and the Visalia Economic Development Corporation. Currently Tom serves on the Board of Directors of the California Bankers Association.

Jerry Hawkins
Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Hawkins began his banking career in 1976. He has a B.S. degree in Agricultural Business Management from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and completed the California Bankers Association Leadership Program. Being able to make decisions locally and providing the customer better service are some of the reasons he enjoys working at a community bank. Some of his many contributions to the community include Past President, Exeter Chamber of Commerce; member of the Exeter Kiwanis Club; Treasurer, Tulare County Public Facilities Corporation; and Director, Certified Development Corporation of Tulare County.

Leighton Monroe Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
	Mr. Monroe has over 35 years experience in banking. Prior to working at VCB, he was the Chief Financial Officer for two thrift & loan companies. He has a B.A. degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. He has chosen to work for a community bank because there is great satisfaction in serving the local area. He is a volunteer with Habitant for Humanity.
