    Tom Beene

    President & Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Beene began his banking career in 1972. He has served as Visalia Community Bank's CEO since 1996. While at VCB, the bank was awarded the 2004 Central California Excellence in Business award, the 2009 Best Companies to Work For in the Central Valley award, and the Visalia Chamber of Commerce 2011 Large Business of the Year award.

    Tom is from Visalia where he attended College of the Sequoias before transferring to California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo, California, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. He obtained his advanced banking degree in Commercial Banking from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in 1986. Tom has been involved with the California Bankers Association (CBA) since 1991 and currently serves as Vice-Chairman for the CBA's Board of Directors.

    Renee Savage

    Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer

    Ms. Savage has been in banking for over 30 years, the last 21 with VCB. Working for a local, community bank has given her the opportunity to grow within the company. She started as a teller and worked in various departments within the Bank. Renee was the Vice President of Loan Operations for 16 years and most recently was named Chief Credit Officer. She is board member of the Tulare County Cattle Drive Beef Boosters and a supporter of the Future Farmers of America

  • Roger White

    Roger K. White

    Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. White is new to Visalia and to VCB, having recently moved here from Poulsbo, Washington, where he was a founding executive and Chief Financial Officer for a new community bank. He attended the University of Utah, where he earned his BS degree in Accounting and an MBA. He began his career in 1974 as a CPA with Ernst & Young (then Ernst & Whinney), serving clients in the financial industry as well as a variety of other companies in New Orleans, Stockholm, Brussels, and Tacoma. He became a banker in 1987 when he went to work as Vice President & Controller for a large regional bank in Tacoma, Washington, and has worked for the past 16 years as Chief Financial Officer for community banks in Juneau, Alaska and Poulsbo, Washington. Roger's community involvement over the years has included Kiwanis Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lions Club, Junior Achievement, and numerous community groups.

    Rick Wehmueller

    Senior Vice President & Commercial Lending Manager

    Mr. Wehmueller has been in the banking industry for nearly 40 years, in the Visalia area for 31 years, and in community banking for 16 years. He has joined VCB to return to his roots of business development and customer service, which are the hallmarks of community banking.

    "Community banking offers local decision-making and an attitude of doing whatever it takes to support our customers," Wehmueller noted. "Being with VCB also allows me to get back to Visalia."

    As Senior Vice-President, Wehmueller oversees VCB's staff of Relationship Managers, helping businesses utilize lines of credit, SBA loans for equipment or buildings and other financing tools to help them grow and succeed.

    Mr. Wehmueller is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce. He is also involved in many other non-profit organizations, as well as being a member of the Rotary Club of Visalia.
